The Life Edit is paywall free and available to all. Here’s why. You can support this newsletter (and make my day) by liking this post, and sharing it with anyone who you think would enjoy it. x
As we approach the season of busy, I wanted to offer you something that has nothing to do with sales, consumption, or adding more to your plate.
I want to invite you to participate in my brand new Declutter Your Life Challenge. It’s free, low lift, and sure to provide a little relief. All month long I’ll be sending out small, actionable prompts to help you reduce physical, mental, and digital clutter.
You can download and print the challenge prompts below and complete them week by week, or at your own pace.
Let’s get started with this one:
Challenge #1: Make a holiday NOT-TO-DO list.
Simply jot down a handful of things you commit to NOT doing this holiday season.
Here’s mine:
I will NOT:
Buy new gift wrap, cards, or decor (will use what I own)
Overspend or accumulate debt
Overschedule my kids with social plans
Attend gatherings or events that don’t feel meaningful
Spend more than one hour a day on social media
What’s on your NOT to-do list? Spend five minutes compiling a thoughtful list of things you’d like to avoid, opt out of, or let go of this season.
Prompt: share one thing you’d like to commit to NOT doing in the comments below.

That’s all for now. Get ready to start simplifying next week one small step at a time.
I will not decorate every little place in my home. Less is better. Also, I WILL be donating excess holiday decorations to Goodwill this week!
I will not feel pressured to keep up traditions that stress me out.
