I would also add seasonal shots for flu shot etc. My husband’s office always has a clinic and ironically he missed it last year because he had another sickness, but then we never prioritized us getting flu shots (tho we did for our kids) and got SO sick at Christmas :(. so many places have walk ins that I don’t schedule but then it doesn’t happen!
Love automating appointments and such! These are great ideas. Adding this info here in case it applies to anyone else: I will say that my doctors and dentist office doesn’t schedule far enough out to be able to do this. And for my dentist office they are so booked up, I’ve been trying to get a dental cleaning for a few months. So unfortunately I still have to hold the stress of some of these things longer than I’d like. And I think that dental offices are busier in the summer so I’m going to try to change my 6 month schedule in that.
Ahh same boat here with dentist being booked out! I had to cancel my August cleaning (unexpectedly had 3 kids home) and the next time they could get me that reasonably worked was January! So I’m on a waitlist but it’s tough that it doesn’t feel “done”
The only thing magical about having auto service performed at the Dealership is that it adds unnecessary costs; the mechanics are not any better than at your local specialty shop. They’re called “stealerships” for a reason.
Just because the Service Manager is nice to you is no reason to spend double.
I feel fortunate in that my dealership offers competitive pricing. Not only that but the dealership always has the needed parts. (Consider I replace my car about every 13 years, whether I need to or not!)
Thiiis. I used to work at a car dealership. Don’t service your car there, don’t buy service packages there, including but not limited to when you buy your car. The prices are over inflated and a bit scammy.
In the US, most taxable brokerage accounts and IRAs are not going to have the prior year's tax forms until after ~ Feb. 15th. That's a deadline for custodians and it's set by the feds.
Please don't call and ask your advisor -- or go online and get frustrated -- when you can't download your tax forms before this. (You may also get corrected forms after this date, but that's less common nowadays).
Annual mammogram. So easy to forget but so important!
SO important. Thank you! xx

Mine don't either but I automate scheduling annual exams three months out so I don't forget!

Oof! That's a long wait!

So helpful thank you!
