Hi! If you’re new here, welcome.
The Life Edit is a newsletter designed to help you clear physical and mental clutter so you can create more space for the stuff that matters.
About me: I'm an author, organizing expert, and minimalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I live in a 1200 square foot, 100-year old bungalow with my husband, two daughters, and our Australian Shepherd, Patches.
I’ve spent the past 15 years helping thousands of people around the world edit and organize their homes and lives. Now I’m sharing everything I’ve learned through books, consults & courses, and this newsletter.
I create content about a range of subjects including heavy stuff like grief, loss, and what to keep when someone dies, and lighter topics like capsule wardrobes, minimalist packing, small space living, style, sustainability, and personal development.
I’ll only present you with things that are practical and actually achievable - even if you’re busy and overwhelmed. Experience has shown me that small, smart action compounds over time to create massive impact and transformation. Little by little adds up to a lot.
I practice a philosophy of minimalism that promotes sustainability and confronts excess, not one that deprives you of the things you actually enjoy.
Within 48-hours of launching, The Life Edit became a Substack bestseller and was selected as a Substack featured publication. When you sign up you’ll be joining a community of like minded people representing all 50 states and 140 countries who want to do more with less. This is a place to find inspiration, encouragement, and support.
Here are a few welcome gifts and popular resources to help you start streamlining and simplifying. Hope you enjoy!
As part of my mission to help as many people as possible, The Life Edit is completely paywall free and available to all.
You can support this newsletter (and make my day!) by subscribing and sharing it with anyone who you think would enjoy it. Thanks for being here!
