Finances! Especially get rid of any old paperwork I don’t need, set up proper estate plan for my family and leave a legacy of having my affairs in order for my survivors to navigate easily. Congrats on the latest book Shira!🥰

My closet is *crying for help*! After 20 years in a toxic corporate job, I finally broke free, ditched the soul-sucking workwear, and rediscovered my creative, free-spirited self.

After lots of therapy, coaching, tattoos, and piercings (to ensure I never go back 🫣) I’m left with a sad pile of jeans, stretched-out leggings, and tired cardigans that scream, 'I gave up.'

I’ve been decluttering my whole house (thanks for the inspo, Shira!) but the closet? It’s the mood-killer. I’m ready to stop showing up to my daughter’s events looking like a walking nap and embrace a wardrobe that says, 'This woman is free, fabulous, and finally breathing!’ ✨

We're hoping to "declutter" our grocery and meal prep aspects life! Purposeful purchases, less take out, and intentional meals! With a toddler and newborn, quick meals are key to our survival right now and a little planning would go a long way to ensure we are nourishing ourselves as a family as we would hope!

Hard to choose just one, but for the sake of focus, I am going to go with finances! Feels like lifestyle creep winnowed its way into all aspects of my finances and I've lost a clear sense of prioritization, saving goals, etc.

I'd love to get a copy of your new book! I've bought and gifted the other two. They are gorgeous.

One thing I'm decluttering this year is my spending habits. I never stick to a budget and it's really hampering my ability to reach goals. I'm vowing to make some hard choices in 2025!

I'd love to declutter my finances/passwords. I want to get them all organized and setup correctly in one place so it's not a guess every time I login if I'm getting the correct info.

Congrats!! Love all your books and thanks to you I am almost completely decluttered and organized. Last stop...the closet that holds all the Christmas ornaments and holiday decor. Now would be the time to organize when everything heads back in for another year. Can't wait to get the new book!!

Christmas and holiday are difficult to declutter because they hold so many memories.

I'm so excited for this book!! I have all the others and am looking forward to streamlining more areas of my life! in 2025 I would really like to have the means to host dinner parties and friends for a visit whenever I want.

I loved your "why" of wanting to be able to travel at the drop of a hat and keeping your house organized and in shape to be able to do so. I'd love to have the organization and tips for entertaining without the overwhelm of influencers and social media making me think that I need WAYY more than I have to be able to do so.. The point I'm trying to make is that I'd love to feel prepared and ready to have a fulfilled life with more than just THINGS

what’s one area of your home or life that you’d like to declutter in 2025?

Well, this may be the most boring answer you get but estate planning. It’s not just who gets what or whether or not to have a trust. It’s about the conversations. You’re not just leaving money you are leaving a lot of work for someone.

The conversation with my spouse has to include decluttering now so someone else doesn’t have as much to do. And your books have already helped me with decluttering space. However this is a different perspective and conversation.

My basement is in serious need of organizing and decluttering. It was become the storage space for so much of our and our grown children’s lives. It is over due for a thorough sort of childhood memorabilia, family “heirlooms” and old professional books and papers. One issue I have with tackling this is that it’s the basement and lacking in daylight. I really prefer natural light and to be outside if at all possible. Somehow I have to motivate myself to spend time down below and begin this process.

Sounds like a great book and look forward to reading it. 2025 is my year of intentionality and I plan to simplify my entertainment. I’m going to focus on select hobbies, minimize the programs I watch and listen to. I have a habit of having background noise (tv programs, podcasts etc) most of the time and I want to be more intentional and mindful and embrace more peace and silence.

I love this response. Everyone was thinking of physical spaces when the largest room is the room for improvement. Good luck!

2025 *will* be the year I tackle our garage. It’s not in terrible shape, but I know that going in and decluttering will free up space and allow us to optimize storage. We park both cars in there and use it as a home gym, so I know that I will appreciate the space far more if it is decluttered and streamlined.

My pile of paper clippings. Ugh. It's an addiction and I really have to do something to curb this habit.
